ESO - Stamina Necromancer 133.6k PvE DPS Build - Update 43

Hey everyone! Been a while since I've had time to post a video. I skipped testing in update 42 since there were no significant changes to dps setups from update 41 (besides just parsing in Highland Sentinel). I decided to quickly parse on cro to feel the changes to the Skeletal Archer and Detonating Siphon. The addition of herosim pots into Necro's kit is definitely a nice boost for the class. Interestingly enough, traveling knife outperforms rapid strikes when equipped with the martial damage increase. Runecarver is still extremely strong on cro with all of it's dots. Caltrops would be a win over scalding rune, but I found it to be unsustainable while using Traveling Knife.

Stamina sustain is very difficult with green stamina food. If you have sustain struggles, swap to lava foot and your life will be a lot easier. I also messed around with the mages guild scribing skill which can provide you with minor endurance. It seemed to be a slight damage loss over scalding rune so I took it off pretty quickly. Sustaining the off resource pool in content (whether that be mag or stam) will be much much easier now with the ability to run ulti/tri pots. It opens up more possibilities for the class and is a welcome change.

The rotation is very similar to spammable setups from the past. Get all of your dots down while casting blastbones on every third skill. Once everything is down, fill your empty casts with traveling knife. Obviously you should also keep an eye on that 6 second timer for the martial damage increase. Keep the buff up as much as possible but not if it means letting multiple dots fall off. Runecarver is doing much of the work for you and its important to keep your dots up. As you get to execute, let your dots falloff and finish the encounter with just your spammable/blastbones. This is where a spammable setup shines over the dot setup. With a dot setup, you have to refresh your dots later on because you really have nothing else to cast. With a spammable, you can just spam away towards the end of the fight.
