Germany seeks to become less attractive to asylum seekers • FRANCE 24 English

In Germany, the federal government and regions have agreed on a series of measures to make the country less attractive to asylum seekers. Their numbers have jumped by 77% since the beginning of the year. Now financial aid will be cut back and not provided in cash – foreigners housed will now have to use a bank card. FRANCE 24’s team on the ground reports.
