00 Intro.
40 Greetings
12 Ritesh's career journey.
13 You’ve been witnessing the early days of digital health many years ago. Since then you’ve probably gone to hundreds of conferences around the globe, you’ve heard thousands of pitches of innovators in healthcare and most of them probably thought they’ll dramatically change the system. Looking back over the years, are you satisfied with the speed of technology adoption and how technology actually changed the system?
19 Do you feel smth has dramatically changed in the system?
13 Let’s face it, US healthcare has many problems, but I think one of them is poor communication and lack of education on navigating the system. And it’s so hard since the complexity, fragmentation, and lack of transparency are insane. And of course, none of the large corporations such as insurance companies, or health systems are incentivized to improve this. For them, more transparency probably means less profits.
You’ve been in the advertising and marketing business for years, you have a better understanding of proper communication strategy than most of us. Is there a way to improve the situation with communication? And who should be the initiator or, let’s call it a client who needs to order such a communication strategy?
09 More about Open Data Rule.
32 Could you please share your thoughts on why for VBC it’s hard to compete with a fee-for-service model in this country?
40 Is there room for innovators to speed up value-based care adoption?
46 You're passionate about health equity and improving access to care, especially in rural areas. What are the biggest barriers to achieving these goals, and which innovative solutions do you think hold the most promise?
14 As I mentioned before, you go to lots of digital health conferences around the world every year. What differences have you noticed in adopting tech in healthcare anywhere you go?
46 Some of the startups are thinking of using South America as a great market to start with. Would you agree with such a strategy?
14 After so many years in digital health, what does keep you motivated?
35 A piece of advice for digital health startup founders by Ritesh Patel.

As we wrap up this insightful discussion, Ritesh Patel leaves us with valuable advice for digital health startup founders, emphasizing the importance of staying motivated and innovative in a complex industry. His passion for health equity and improving access to care shines through, offering a hopeful perspective on the potential for technology to make a meaningful impact.
