The Wistron incident emphasizes the need to reform labour laws in India

Most labour disputes are because of unfair treatment given to temporary employees, who work as hard and as much as permanent employees but receive none of the benefits. In addition, labour compliances often hinder ease of doing business, a key factor of concern for foreign companies. Will the new codes make it more equitable, or open up yet another pandora's box?
