Players in the insurance industry are being reminded that they have a major role to play in the island's bread and butter industry.

That is according to Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Ian Gooding-Edghill, who says the significance of financial insurance is critical in light of potential hazards such as natural and man-made disasters.

He made the point while addressing the Caribbean Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (CARAIFA) 36th Annual Sales Congress 2025.

Minister Gooding-Edghill notes that the relationship between tourism and finance can be further highlighted through the use of data analytics.
