Baby Seal Freed from Fishing Line

No matter if it’s a heavy commercial line or a light recreational one, entanglement poses a serious threat to marine animals and should never be left in the ocean. During an OCN rescue patrol at Pelican Point, our team came across a young seal caught in a recreational fishing line. Fortunately, we were able to safely remove it, and the seal was released back into the wild.
