The Nashville is one of our more popular sofa styles for it’s more modern look with loungey comfort. It features lower, square arms, a deep seat and a sleek wood base.

COMFORT
The inside seat depth is a 2 – 24” which is on the deeper side. It’s good for tall people who like to sit up, but shorter individuals tend to also find it comfortable when they can sit with their feet up.
The inside back height is ton the high side– 18” – comfort rating 3 – It offers full back support but is not quite tall enough to rest your head upon.
The inside arm height is 6”, a 1 comfort rating: a little on the shorter side, but still pretty useful for leaning up against.
Because of its deep seat, it’s the perfect sofa for a family room for watching TV
WHO IT MAY NOT WORK FOR
Shorter individuals may not like this sofa if they want to sit upright, although they can add a pillow for more support.
This is an overall large piece of furniture with its deep seat so it’s not ideal for super small spaces.
STYLE
The arms of this sofa give it a more modern look, but its deep seat and cushions still make it casual and inviting.
The upholstered version shows off an oak wood base which is a great way to bring in a natural element. The slipcovered version has a straight skirt all the way to the floor which maintains the modern feel. (slide in of slipcovered sofa image)
The cushion seam is a topstitch – a flat seam that keeps the look updated.
This style may lean modern but can blend seamlessly with traditional furniture and be a great way to update a room with more classic touches. This is a truly versatile style and can go with almost any look.
