I'll compare it a bit to my old OVS to talk through some of the nice upgrades they've made to this awning over some of the older style ones.

Also, a note that I mention how I mounted the tent using my bed rack system, but the awning comes with hardware that allows it to be installed on a roof rack. However, they also have brackets to mount the awning on the side mounting rail of a tent, which I'll put a link to below.
