Measure, set up Hammer Hanging Jig, and hang hammers

I have made a form to fill in the information I gather for the job, including bore calculations, hang distance, knuckle placement, and all other determinations that pertain to assembling and regulating this grand piano action. Then, having set up my Squaring Platform and Hammer Hanging Jig, fixed relative to the topstack, and having traveled the shanks to vertical, I hang the hammers. Hot hide glue for the wooden shanks. Tails just touch tail guide, hammer shoulders just touch shoulder guide, and Hammer Square Lite guides the verticality. When just right, each shank taps on the lifting rail. Stops retain positioning for the shoulder guide rail as it is backed off for clearance of newly hammered shanks being lowered onto lifting rail for positioning.
