Mail-in-a-Box Setup Guide (v0.16, January 2016)

Mail-in-a-Box lets you become your own mail service provider in a few easy steps. It’s sort of like making your own gmail, but one you control from top to bottom. Mail-in-a-Box turns a fresh cloud computer into a working mail server, but you don’t need to be a technology expert to set it up.

This tutorial shows how to set up a Mail-in-a-Box. It is the same information as in the Setup Guide at https://mailinabox.email.

NOTE: As of version 60 (October 2022), create a server running Ubuntu 22.04 x64. The other installation steps remain largely the same, even after 6 years.
