Hi Guys !

In this video we are going to look at the polarity of the SF6 molecule and determine if the molecule is polar or nonpolar. SF6 is a chemical formula for Sulphur Hexafluoride molecule that consists of one Sulphur atom and six Fluorine atoms.

To check if the molecule is polar or not, we check the arrangement of electrons and atoms. For knowing this, we first look at the Lewis Structure of the SF6 molecule.

Along with that we also look at the dipole moment of the atoms and the net dipole moment in the molecule.
