There are now over 80 surgical robots across the NHS helping perform over 15,000 cancer operations every year.

This lecture by Ben Challacombe, Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, takes a look at the emergence of surgical robotics over the last 20 years, the UK's current availability of this technology, and how training, mentoring and evaluation of clinical outcomes are aided by robotics.
