Do you hate the business side of music?

Back when I was an artist I really disliked dealing with the business side of being a musician. You know, calling booking agents, trying to get press, even doing promotion. That was a long time ago, but I KNOW you may feel the same way today.

Why do so many artists hate dealing with the business side of their music career? After all, in order for your artist career to progress, you have to deal with the business side in order to grow your fan base (and get dollars to start flowing into your bank account instead of out of your bank account).

In this week’s video, I discuss this important topic and throw out a tip for you to (maybe) learn to love (or at least appreciate) the business part of the music business.
