Resto Mod or Classic Restoration for Martin's Cars?

Описание к видео Resto Mod or Classic Restoration for Martin's Cars?

This week we drop in on Martin who was dobbed in by his daughter for an interview. We jumper in with his LX Torana. Martin bought this Torana as a project but it had a bit more work to finish than the previous owner let on. Never the less he soldered on and got it back on the road. And did a great job as well. Fitted with a SLR flair kit and Absinth yellow paint with black features this car stands out on the road. It has a 308 engine with VN heads. commodore 6 speed manual and a 9 inch diff. this car has a great rumble and sits on a set of Indie Dragway's. Martin loves nothing more than going for a cruise with his wife down through Fremantle and pulling up for a picnic on the foreshore.

Second up is his 2 door Pillarless 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Resto Mod. This car is still in the build but its nearly done. It has had all the running gear out of a Holden Clubsport transferred as well as integrating in the commodore dash while he changed it from left to right hand drive. Martin loves designing and building so it fits he is building this as a resto mod. And is building it to his liking. the more I looked at it the more I could see his visions that had come to life. Martin also has painted his own cars and has done a great job. the Chevy is finished in a Porsche red and with all fresh chrome this car sparkles in the sun. Things left to do are, suspension upgrade, finish the interior off, new wheels etc etc.. this was another great day for us as Martin is good fun, and he also shares the passion for old cars like us. I cant wait to see the Chevy finished and on the road. We hope you enjoy this episode and we'll catch you on the next one.
