December 5. corn was planted June 20. Barely made black layer before a slightly early frost in October. Dry down has been so so, but the yield is surprising me. Much better than corn planted a month earlier that had to endure ridiculous rain fall. Combine has been solid all fall. Only breakdown was a connecting link on the unload auger chain, and we found a link in the combine toolbox, so we only lost 20 minutes.
