Mama June has been documenting her weight loss journey on her reality show Mama June: From Not to Hot where she was undergone a number of surgeries as well as various life style changes to achieve her weight loss goals. She is now a size four and looks sooo good. Over the course of the show, Alana aka Honey Boo Boo was a little hesitant about her mom’s unconventional weight loss journey but in the end she said that she is really proud of her mom and thinks that she looks great. During her confessional, Mama June opened up about her journey saying QUOTE - "I feel like [I'm] becoming the person on the outside that I always felt like [I was] on the inside. My goal when I first started this weight loss journey was to make Sugar Bear kind of jealous. But it's no longer about revenge. Doing all the surgeries really took a toll on me—not just physically, but emotionally."
Sugar Bear is Mama June’s ex husband who is now with a new woman. After the finale aired, Mama June went on Twitter to thank everyone for their kind words and support saying - "I've been through a long road I'm so proud of where I came from.”
