Walking in Spain through the Old Town of Alicante on our way to Castillo de Santa Bárbara, a castle situated atop the 166 metres tall Mount Benacantil.
The castle which was one of the largest fortresses in medieval Spain has been under various attacks, captures and even bombardments throughout the years.
Since the 9th century the castle has been offering great views of the bay and land of Alicante.
