Donald Trump believes the United States faces a “100 per cent chance” of a terrorist attack, as they are “pouring into our country”.

According to US Customs and Border Protection, in the 12 months to December, over 2.5 million people illegally entered the United States through the Southern border.

“Your cities are going to hell,” Mr Trump said at a forum in Pennsylvania.

“We’re really likely to face – I say a 100 per cent chance of – a terrorist attack.

“In 2019, and I didn’t believe this number, but the fake news – that’s a lot of fake news – look at that … I didn’t believe this number, but they had up in 2019 … there were no terrorists.

“Not one terrorist that they have, at least on record … but not one terrorist was reported.

“Now, if you look at our numbers, more are pouring into our country from all over the world … they’re pouring into our country.

“An entire generation of young people could very well be decimated by something that could happen: World War Three.

“It will never happen with me, I can tell you that.”
