Chassahowitzka River Campground was one of the first campgrounds we visited in our new RV.

Located in Homosassa, FL, this park was nestled on the banks of the Chazzahowitzka River (a.k.a. The Chaz).  Although it was very cold for us Florida folks (and WAY too cold to be on the bike), we were still able to get out and canoe on The Chaz.  The river is crystal clear and since it was winter, the manatees were everywhere!  It was a memorable canoeing adventure for sure!  We made some new friends while we were here and enjoyed several happy hours with them.

(Randy and Sabrina, we will see you in Maine!)  We look forward to visiting this campground again, but definitely when it's a little warmer.
