China Airlines Flight 120 Caught On Fire Animation

What Happened to the Aircraft: China Airlines Flight 120 a Boeing 737-809 caught on fire on August 20, 2007, at Naha Airport in Okinawa, Japan. The fire was caused by a fuel leak from the right-wing fuel tank, which ignited shortly after the aircraft came to a stop at the gate. The leak was due to a loose bolt on the fuel line, which allowed fuel to escape and come into contact with a hot surface. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the right-wing of the aircraft. Thankfully, all 165 passengers and crew members on board were able to evacuate safely before the fire spread further.
