This week we’re sewing a cute cottagecore apron from Butterick’s historic aprons pattern (B5509 ). It’s based on an Edwardian garment from approximately 1910. You’ll also learn a bit about the surprisingly fascinating history of aprons and how they fit into the story of dress history.
