GOKYO LAKES ARE INCREDIBLE | Day 7 - Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek | Nepal travel vlog 2019

The most beautiful place I have ever been - Gokyo Lakes! When we decided to do the trek to Everest Base Camp, I could not pass up the opportunity to also visit Gokyo! I had seen photos of it before and it didn't even look real, it was so incredible. We trekked from Machhermo to Gokyo and then did a short hike up to Ngozumpa Glacier. From here we had a great view of Gokyo village and Gokyo Ri.

The Himalayas keep impressing me more and more every day. It was very cold today also with a low temperature of -6 degrees celcius. We visited the bakery and couldn't believe the freshly baked goods they had on offer!
