Wisteria is an invasive, perennial climbing vine, a plant of striking duality. Its fragrant purple flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, but its vines can overwhelm forests, toppling trees and choking out native life.

In this video, I walk through the tangled growth, showing how it has transformed and pulled down the forest. Wisteria is a story of beauty and burden, resilience and destruction. It isn't a villain, only a survivor doing what evolution taught it to do.

It reminds me that not everything in nature fits neatly into good or bad. Like us, every plant has its place. My goal is to restore the balance, not erase the story.
