Understanding Vertical Jigs for Bluefin Tuna | Knife Jig and Slow Pitch

Описание к видео Understanding Vertical Jigs for Bluefin Tuna | Knife Jig and Slow Pitch

In this video I will try to give you the basics of understanding vertical jigs for bluefin tuna.
There are many brands and styles of jigs out on the market. The two most popular are Erratic Style jigs and this year, Knife Jigs. Erratic style jigs such as FishLab Carnada Slow Pitch Jigs, Shimano Flat Fall and Squish jigs all work excellent for that slow pitch, erratic style fishing that was VERY popular over the past couple of years. For this year, the Knife Style jig has seemed to make a comeback and is currently at the forefront of jig sales and bluefin catches.

As with any jigs, be sure to check your rigging. On some of the more popular overseas knife jigs, I like to upgrade my assist hooks to either Nomad or Mustad Assists.
