Triumph Tiger 1200 - XCx or XCa?

A quick look at the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCa and whether it represents good value compared to the XCx. Although I have focussed on the XC range a similar difference exist between the road styled XRx and XRt machines. I have purposefully ignored the entry level XR road based T12 which doesn't come with TSAS suspension and a host of other features. The XCx is priced with non black paint for price comparison. As ever, this is just my opinion and if the budget is not limited of course you might choose the top of the range machine regardless. Since making this video Triumph released the Desert & Alpine models which I think represent the best value for money in the range. They are based on the mid range XRx and XCx and come with the quick shifter as standard amongst other things.
