As the progression of the catastrophic flood event from Hurricane Helene continues in the area, a large majority of the damage has yet to be touched. Given how widespread and extreme it is, it may be weeks until significant progress has been made to begin clean up. Supply drops are still being made to private residences in remote areas. Supplies/donations/internet can be found at the hilltop center of town.
