The Ending Of The Irishman Explained

Martin Scorsese’s 2019 gangster film The Irishman feels like the culmination of all of his mob movies up to this point. The sweeping three-and-a-half-hour epic tells the story of Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro), an Irish hitman who works for the mafia and eventually has to carry out a hit on his friend, Teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino).
