In the initial phase of the detailing process for our re-creation of Caravaggio's "The Incredulity of Saint Thomas," we will proceed by adding an additional layer of black glaze. The black glaze mixture will be meticulously applied using a smaller flat brush, beginning with the darker areas and then sparingly across the entire painting. This method will result in an overall darkening effect, with a few highlighted areas preserved, staying true to Caravaggio's renowned chiaroscuro technique.
