Dal/Lentils are good source of protein and hence there is a huge emphasis of dal in Indian cuisine. this dal is made up of 3 types of dal. Tuvar dal, channa dal & moong dal.

Ingredients-

Preparing time - 10 mins
Cooking time - 10 mins
Serves - 2

For Dal-
1/2 cup Tuvar dal
2 tbsp Moong dal
2 tbsp Channa dal
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder


1st Tempering-
2 Tsp ghee
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1small sized tomato
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
salt to taste
1tsp fenugreek leaves
Lime

2nd tempering-
2tsp ghee
A pinch of asafoetida
1 red chilli
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
4-5 curry leaves

salt to taste
1tsp fenugreek seeds
Lime

2nd tempering-
2tsp ghee
A pinch of asafoetida
1 red chilli
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
4-5 curry leaves
