Allen Morgan guilty of plotting murder of wife

A cheating husband has today been convicted of plotting the murder of his shopkeeper wife 43 years ago.

Allen Morgan was found guilty of conspiring to murder Carol Morgan, who was battered to death by an unknown killer on the evening of 13 August 1981. The case at Luton Crown Court in Bedfordshire, which has been described as the stuff of "Hollywood screenplays", reached its conclusion today.
