Hong Kong in Monochrome 04 | Pottinger Street, Tai Kwun, Central

For episode 04, my wife and I walk up the iconic Pottinger Street, which is a series of cut stone steps up a hill in Central, which lead to the even more iconic Tai Kwun--which is the former Central Police Station Compound and Victoria Prison, where Pol Pot was imprisoned.

The Hong Kong Heritage Board ingeniously turned the entire compound into a museum for history and photography buffs alike.

In a future episode, I will be revisiting Tai Kwun to see what kind of photos I can capture at night (Episode 06).

The architecture and textures are just perfect for my kind of photography whether in good light, flat light, or moonlight.
