Day 51 to day 60
A team arrived at the research facility that Doctor Miller stated. However, the place is filled with the infected and they will need reinforcements. More teams were sent to the facility, and they removed the threat without any issue.
The squads retrieved the case but also discovered a gruesome sight that shook the men. These discoveries cause the teams to feel uneasy and began to question Doctor Millers research. Request were made to open the case but was rejected.
The case was hastily delivered to the Doctor. While at the Doctor's facility, we ask her for details of the case we retrieved but only received cryptic answers. Next, she needs us to deliver her the organs of an Alpha infected. Not only that, but the organs have to be delivered immediately after retrieval.
Days later, a swam of infected dogs accompanied by an Alpha attacked. We managed to take out the swam and successfully harvest the Alpha's organs. We quickly delivered the package to Doctor Miller and now we will have to wait for her results.
Doctor Miller contacted us sometime later and reveal that they have a breakthrough in their research. However, it is not a cure. She requested volunteers to be tested with the vaccine, but some might not survive. Eight people were sent and we hope they will all come back alive.
After waiting for a couple of days, Doctor Miller brought us news of a working vaccine that helps to prevent people from getting sick with the mutated virus. She will send the research data and a batch of vaccines to us. These will allow us to research and produce our own vaccine in future. Unfortunately, two of the volunteers did not make it.
