How To Fix Laptop Computer Motherboard Ribbon Cable Clip Fastener Tutorial

Ribbon Cables on computer Motherboards are usually held in place by a Retainer Clip. These clips are very easily broken and are almost impossible to find for sale. Often, you have to purchase a used or 'as is' Motherboard to get the clip. Even if you can find them, they are very easy to break when your installing it as well. This video will show you how to safely remove one and then how to install it onto your Motherboard safely. Without this clip, you often have to resort to electrical tape or some other means of fastening down the Ribbon Cable which is not ideal and can lead to the Cable easily coming loose.
