The emergency lights pulsated red.
Sirens squalled throughout the empty compound.

The only one left is the clone.

His first impression of the world
was like that of a newborn child.

But with a touch, he was awakened.
Full of the Original’s memories and consciousness,
as well as abundant energy
that had been duplicated onto him
by the Original’s brother. Now HIS brother.
Killed at the hand of The Exile.

His creator.

Ironic. The creator had been obliterated by the creation.
He didn’t know how he did it,
how he erased them from existence.
Upon his enlightenment,
he was met with torrents of knowledge and emotion.
The rage at seeing his brother’s lifeless corpse
caused the levee in his mind to break,
vaporizing them all.

Overwhelming darkness had settled around him.
He could feel it, the ominous presence,
as it began overtaking the earth.
The god of The Syndicate, known only by The Monarchs,
had been summoned for the annihilation of all things.
