Salvagnini panel bender: automatic bending and assembling of a drawer

The P2 is the Salvagnini compact panel bender for lean, flexible production. In this video, the P2 automatically bends a drawer of galvanized sheet 0.8 mm thick.

It is a kit production, typical of the office furniture industry: the flat parts are micro-jointed together. The operator assembles the drawer's body and front, which have an integrated handle, without screws.
