MEE’s Maya-Nora spoke with protesters in Amsterdam, where tens of thousands gathered to draw a symbolic “red line” against two years of genocide in Gaza and to press the Dutch government for stronger action ahead of national elections, with organisers estimating about 250,000 participants.

Protesters called for an end to Israeli violence and the decolonisation of Palestine, emphasising that its roots extend far beyond 7 October and criticising mainstream parties for framing it as a conventional security issue rather than a longstanding colonial struggle.
