U.S. Navy G-1 Leather Flight Jacket - Review Follow-Up After Applying Patches

Описание к видео U.S. Navy G-1 Leather Flight Jacket - Review Follow-Up After Applying Patches

As promised, this is a follow up video to my recent Unboxing and Review of my new U.S. Navy Issue Mil-Spec G-1 Leather Flight Jacket made by Cockpit, USA (www.cockpitusa.com). This jacket was to replace the G-1 I had while serving in the United States Navy, but which was stolen (went missing) when the Navy shipped my belongings home when I transferred from Active Duty to Reserves. I used my old 1944 Singer Sewing Machine to sew the patches on myself, using strong nylon thread and leather cutting point sewing needles.I sewed Velcro rectangles on for the Nametag and Flag patch. I had a new "dress" Nametag made for the jacket by FlightJacket.com. It has the wings both embossed, with 3D texture, and hand painted and looks great! It was a bit expensive at around $65, but well worth the money. Quality and workmanship are first class and they had very fast turnaround.
I am very happy to finally have such a beautiful replacement for my service G-1. I hope you find this video helpful and interesting.
Thanks for watching!
