STORYLINE:
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Thursday met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi as part of a three-day state visit to India.
Delegations from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India signed several agreements to boost bilateral ties in trade, infrastructure development, renewable energy and combating cyber crime.
The UAE are India's third largest trading partner with an annual trade volume of close to 60 billion US dollars.
The Emirates are also among the largest investors in India in terms of foreign direct investments and the sixth largest supplier of crude oil to India in 2014-15, according to the Indian ministry of external affairs.
About 2.6 million Indians form the largest expatriate group in UAE.
