If you're looking for a game that's all adventure and very little fluff, then you're looking for Dungeon Crawl Classics. It's all about the adventure, characters don't advance very far before it's time to roll up a new one. There's little in the game except for rules for killing and exploring. Everything in each adventure is meant to be unique, from swords to orcs. Combining B/X and 3rd edition, it meant to be easy to play and hard to survive. The theme of DCC is very much shut up and game.
