Ashokan Farewell Fingerstyle guitar - Mike Fowler

Ashokan Farewell, written by Jay Ungar for the American Grammy Award winning show, The Civil War. It has a very Celtic feel to it, and it's often played at folk sessions, but was in fact only written in 1990.

I've arranged it for fingerstyle guitar in D, in a dropped D tuning. This was a particularly easy arrangement, if anyone wants a lesson video I'll happily do one, its just the melody played over the bass notes of the chords for the majority of the tune.
