Barros burst onto the scene at Boston College, becoming the school's all-time leading scorer. The Seattle SuperSonics drafted him 16th overall in 1989, kicking off a journey that would see him play for four NBA teams.
But it was with the Philadelphia 76ers where Barros truly shined. In the 1994-95 season, he averaged an impressive 20.6 points per game, earning his first and only All-Star selection.
