Jane Comerford drückt Australien die Daumen. Die 24-jährige Sängerin, die im bürgerlichen Leben Jessica Alyssa Cerro heißt, gewinnt den Vorentscheid mit den Stimmen der Jury vor Zuschauerfavoritin Casey Donovan. Ihren Beitrag über eine Liebesbeziehung, die zu zerbrechen droht, weil der Partner alles für selbstverständlich nimmt, hat sie gemeinsam mit Anthony Egizii und David Musumeci geschrieben, die auch für die ESC-Beiträge von Dami Im 2016, Isaiah 2017 und Jessica Mauboy 2018 verantwortlich zeichneten. Für Consi ist Montaignes Auftritt allerdings fast schon zu viel des Guten und viele Songchecker wundern sich über ihr Outfit.
