Still captured during our trials, witness our courageous pixel IJN torpedo aircrews, who are giving it all to finish Yorktown off, as the American ship is desperately trying to recover its power and steering following a prior attack. These few Kankos are the last hope of the AI to kill off the player's ship before it runs out of strike aircraft until the afternoon.

The smoke of the injured flattop can be seen from afar, offering the Japanese crews with a fantastic beacon that would be hard to miss. They split early on, planning on striking the limping beast from two directions, in a lethal crossfire.

As the two Kate sections converge, the much lighter volume of fire due to the damage received by Yorktown (and the total absence of American fighters in the air in this case) allows them to lead a textbook attack. And true to their aggressive doctrine, they do "press closely, strike home!".
