The journey to a new Pima Animal Care Center

Описание к видео The journey to a new Pima Animal Care Center

See the work that went into transforming Pima Animal Care Center from a dog pound to an animal care facility. Originally built in the 1960’s during a time when PACC’s primary purpose was to serve as a Rabies Control “pound,” this facility needed significant upgrades to achieve its lifesaving potential. Thanks to a $22 million bond, authorized by voters in 2014 through Proposition 415, PACC now operates from a state-of-the-art building equipped to save lives and provide pet owners with resources and support to care for their family members. Improvements include a veterinary clinic for routine and emergency care, indoor/outdoor dog housing, group cat housing, isolation spaces for optimized disease control, play yards, meet and greet spaces, a community meeting room and more.
