2024 05 31 Road Trip to Makedonia (Part 4 from Kerkini the way back)

Ιn Part 4 we leave behind the beautiful lanscape of Kerkini Lake and head to Serres. This time from the Northern side of the Lake. We stayed once more at the M.O.S. facilities and the next day we plan a route to the Western side of Mount Olympus. The roads are beautiful, the Nature steals every look we take.
We stayed in a village called "Kokkinopilos", nice small village with a distintice smell due to the vast number of sheep goats and cows.
The next day we travel the last leg of the trip, all the way to our base, back in Viotia. Strange thing, we started our road trip from Ypati and after all these hundreds of km, something pushed us to take exactly the same road backwards.
Στο 4ο μέρος αφήνουμε πίσω μας την Κερκίνη και κατευθυνόμαστε προς Σέρρες. Διανυκτερεύσαμε πάλι στις εγκαταστάσεις του Μ.Ο.Σ. Την επομένη φεύγουμε με στόχο την Δυτική μεριά του Ολύμπου. Η διαδρομή υπέροχη. Η Φύση κλέβει κάθε μας ματιά.
Το βράδυ μείναμε σε ένα χωριό που λέγεται "Κοκκινοπηλός". Μικρό ήσυχο μέρος με χαρακτηριστική μυρωδιά από τα 1000αδες πρόβατα, κατσίκια και γελάδια που εκτρέφονται.
Την επομένη αναχωρούμε για το τελευταίο σκέλος του ταξιδιού, μέχρι την βάση μας στην Βοιωτία. Το περίεργο είναι ότι μετά από όλες αυτές τις 100αδες χλμ, κάτι μας ωθεί να πάρουμε πάλι τον ίδιο δρόμο αντίστροφα.
