On December 18, 2024, Ctrip Group held a global partner summit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Liang Jianzhang, co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of Ctrip Group, and Sun Jie, CEO of Ctrip Group, and other executives "advertised" for China's inbound tourism on the spot, welcoming global partners and global tourists to visit China.
At the summit, Liang Jianzhang delivered a keynote speech on "ESG and China's Inbound Tourism", introducing Ctrip Group's innovation in exploring sustainable development, and proposed that inbound tourism currently has room for trillions of growth in China.
Liang Jianzhang said: "China's inbound tourism has great development potential, and various pain points are being gradually resolved. Ctrip will use the advantages of global resources and integrated marketing to strive to be a pioneer in promoting inbound tourism and contribute to the development of the tourism economy and the enhancement of China's image."
In recent years, the continuous implementation of various facilitation measures has driven the rapid growth of inbound tourism. Ctrip has actively responded to the policy of developing inbound tourism and continued to promote the "Super China" brand in major inbound tourist source markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea. A series of promotions, products and services have driven the growth of Ctrip's inbound tourism orders. In the first 11 months of this year, the number of inbound tourists on Ctrip's platform increased by 119% year-on-year; the traffic of "popular Chinese travel routes" on Ctrip's overseas platform increased by more than 500% year-on-year; in the third quarter of this year, inbound hotel bookings on Ctrip's platform increased by about 100% year-on-year. These high-growth figures have also brought tangible business growth to domestic scenic spots, hotels, travel agencies and other partners.
In terms of inbound tourism promotion, Ctrip will also give full play to its resource advantages and tell the story of Chinese tourism well. Liang Jianzhang said: "I have shot many endorsement videos for inbound tourism. Not only me, but we also have many KOLs, many of whom are foreigners, Japanese, and Koreans. How to introduce China from their perspective is also a little attempt for us to promote China on social media in the future."
The inbound tourism market will usher in a stage of high-quality development, better enable high-level opening up to the outside world, and tell the Chinese story of the new era well. The United Arab Emirates, where the summit was held, is the first country in the Middle East to achieve full visa exemption with my country. Since the beginning of this year, Chinese tourists' outbound travel orders to Abu Dhabi have increased by more than 75% year-on-year, and Abu Dhabi tourists' travel orders to China have increased by nearly 4 times year-on-year.
At the summit, Ctrip Group also reached a global strategic cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. Ctrip's global platform will increase the display of Abu Dhabi's tourist attractions, vacation experiences and other products and services, provide tourists with high-quality travel experiences, and enhance Abu Dhabi's global reputation as a top tourist destination and the length of stay of international tourists.
梁建章:中国入境游尚有上万亿增长空间
2024年12月18日,携程集团在阿联酋阿布扎比举办全球合作伙伴峰会。携程集团联合创始人兼董事局主席梁建章、携程集团CEO孙洁等高管现场为中国入境游“打广告”,欢迎全球合作伙伴、全球游客到中国游玩。
峰会现场,梁建章发表了《ESG与中国入境游》的主题演讲,介绍了携程集团在探索可持续发展方面的创新,提出了入境游目前在中国尚有上万亿增长空间。
梁建章表示:“中国入境游发展潜力巨大,各项痛点正在逐步解决,携程将利用全球资源和整合营销的优势,争当推广入境游的先锋,为发展旅游经济和提升中国形象做出贡献。”
近年来,各项便利化措施持续落地带动入境游增长迅速。携程积极响应发展入境游的政策,在新马泰、印尼、越南、日韩等主要入境游客源地市场持续推广“Super China”品牌。一系列推广和产品、服务,带动携程入境游订单的增长。今年前11个月,携程平台入境游人次同比增长119%;携程海外平台上,“热门中国旅游线路”流量同比增长超500%;今年第三季度,携程平台上入境游酒店预订同比增长约100%。这些高速增长的数字也为国内景区、酒店、旅行社等合作伙伴带来实实在在的生意增长。
在入境游宣传方面,携程也将充分发挥资源优势,讲好中国旅游故事。梁建章表示:“我本人为入境游拍过很多代言视频,不光是我,我们还有很多的KOL,很多就是老外、日本人、韩国人这些KOL,也是用他们的角度怎么样去来介绍中国,这个是我们未来在社交媒体上推广中国做的一点尝试。”

此次峰会举办地阿联酋是中东地区首个同我国实现全面互免签证的国家。今年以来,中国游客出境阿布扎比旅游订单同比增长超75%,阿布扎比游客来中国旅游订单更是同比增长近4倍。
峰会现场,携程集团还与阿布扎比文化与旅游部达成全球战略合作。携程全球平台将增加阿布扎比旅游景点、度假体验等产品与服务的展示,为游客提供高质量旅游体验,提升阿布扎比作为顶级旅游目的地的全球知名度和国际游客停留时长。
