'Spring' is a noun and a verb - discover how it works in this short vocabulary video.

As an uncountable noun Spring is the name of the season - but we can count the number of springs (rather than their name), and so it can be used in the plural as well.

As a verb, spring works much like the noun - it shows how something can bounce or leap up. It's irregular - so we say "Spring, Sprang, Sprung" for the three forms of the verb.
