What are my top 5 aquarium filters for African Cichlid tanks?

I run several African Cichlid tanks. Each has it's own unique filtration set-up. I'm using hang-on-backs, canisters and even a sump. But, after working with all of them, which do I feel is the best for an African Cichlid tank? Which is best? Should we run one filter or is multiple filters best? If running multiple filters, what combination of filters is best? Here are my opinions after years of running different set-ups and combinations.
