The start of Autumn Winter racing on the Gold Coast kicks off with the Prime Minister's Cup Race Day.

One of my favourites race events of the year as I can dust off my leather gloves, winter millinery and get creative with ways to look stylish while keeping warm.

I like to try out new colours and styles with each outfit and for this event I wore a metallic sheen, olive green and black midi length dress by designer Andrew Semple. The thicker fabric with shorter sleeves was perfect for the Gold Coast climate.

Being the embellishing addict that I am, I couldn't help but bead my sleeves and add feathers, quills and spikes to my millinery. I was lucky enough to place second in this ensemble.
