黃天人原是在台北傳道的牧師，18年前帶著全家搬到新竹山上。從無到有，自己親手蓋起一個家，過著自給自足的田園生活。

為了可能到來的糧食危機，他種菜養雞養羊，儲存了七千斤的稻榖，甚至連「蛆」都成為野外求生時的高蛋白來源。

Today, Guess Who meets 55-year-old multitalented “wild man” David Huang, a pastor, homesteader survival expert, and rock climbing teacher, who moved from Taipei to the countryside with his family 18 years ago after yearning for a life in the great outdoors. Together with his supportive wife, Jade, David has been able to indulge his wildest fantasies, building a homesteaders paradise with an out-of-this-world home. However, despite realizing his homesteading dream and raising three kids, David has never forgotten his mission to help others and spread the gospel. In their 30 years of marriage, he and Jade have mentored 500-600 adolescent kids at their homestead and helped countless couples through rocky patches in their marriage. In this episode, we discover what challenges Jade and the kids experienced adapting to life in the wilds; why David’s wriggling "dark cuisine" is a step too far for most; and how despite being a beacon of light and anchor for so many, David and Jade’s own marriage has been no bed of roses.
